Welcome to A Night in New Orleans!



A Message from the Co-Chairs

In this second year as Co-Chairs of the Live & Silent Auction, we are once again blown away by the generous spirit of the Annunciation Community. We feel so honored to work with an amazing group of parent volunteers, staff and local businesses this auction season. Lucky for us (and the school), we also have the pleasure of mentoring next year's Auction Co-Chairs, Sara Nuahn and Karin Broecker-Smith, as they take the reigns from us and start planning for next year!

This marks the 17th year that our community will join together at this Live & Silent Auction to raise the funds so vital to our children’s education. We hope you have fun and find the event to be a great time to gather with those sharing one common goal: We want to raise some serious money to continue to give Annunciation students a top-notch education focused on providing an inspiring environment that nurtures academic excellence, creativity and faith.

We hope you enjoy A Night in New Orleans and as they say in Cajun French, "Laissez les bon temps rouler" or "Let the Good Times Roll!"

A Night in New Orleans Auction Parties are Hotter than EVER


This year's offerings include the best of the treasured classics and a bunch of hot new ideas!

We want to let you know that this year the party fun begins as early as June 1st, so be sure to check your calendar when you get the auction book and starting talking to your friends....because these parties are going to fill up fast!

Sign up is at the Silent Auction Party Table on May 6th. Be sure to Buy Tickets so you don't miss the chance to get a spot on one of these amazing parties!

Hospitality Package includes 3 hour pregame party hosted by Prime Sports, with all you can eat tailgate buffet and open bar.

Approximate value of this raffle is $9000.00

*Winner of tickets can upgrade seats if they would like to pay for a different location at their own cost (options include upgrades from $500 (upper level sideline) to $5000+ per seat (lower level premium seats).

Volunteers, We NEED You!


Hello! And hurray! The Annunciation Auction is almost here....and we are ready to throw a fantastic party and have high hopes to raise a TON of money for our kids!

How can you help?

  • Friday, May 5:
    Set Up and Decorations
    We start at 2:30pm and work until approximately 8pm. We will provide pizza, beer and wine for all volunteers too!! And childcare will be provided in the basement of the church. (All Volunteers Welcome!)
    Childcare Help for Set-up Volunteers. (Need 2 Volunteers to watch kids in Church basement)
  • Sunday, May 7:
    Clean Up
    We typically start around 8-9am. (All Volunteers 
Welcome!) 

  • Student Photo Gallery SupportHelp Carol Eubanks as she assembles all of the Student Photos that Anna Bjorkstrand has taken (Need 1 Volunteer to help Carole) 
 
Please let me know approximate timing of when you can be at school and if you need child care.

Kids are welcome to help in the older grades, and we plan to have child care available in the church on Friday, if anyone wants to volunteer with their older kids for that!

Beer, Wine, and Pizza will be served during Set Up. It's a fun night. Bring kids, leave kids, come hang out- it's really a good time.

What's Earlier than an Early Bird?

Did you hear that A Night in New Orleans, Live & Silent Auction tickets are now on sale? Early bird ticket prices are in effect until April 23rd! BUY TICKETS

If you are curious about seating options (there are 2!) or what will be served for dinner (yes, there will be Andouille sausage!), then check out the FAQ page

Maybe you want to know more about the Student Raffle that will be coming home in your student’s backpack (it’s okay, if they get a little crumpled!) then read this Student Raffle post.


Finally, if it took you all Spring Break to brainstorm a way to get involved then, contact Beth Woods, because it is not too late to donate to the Silent Auction.

The school goal is for each student to sell at least 3 tickets! At $10 each, here is what you need to do:

  1. Clearly complete the form on ticket stub for each person who purchases a raffle ticket.
  2. Return your completed raffle ticket stubs with the $10 per ticket to the school office.
  3. If you run out (GREAT!), just stop by the school office and pick up additional raffle tickets.
  4. Return all sold and unsold raffle tickets to the office by Friday, May 5, 2017.
  5. Have fun and happy selling!

Auction Donations


The countdown begins to this year's Live & Silent Auction....A Night in New Orleans. The big event is just 8 weeks away!!
Please consider donating to this year's Auction! There are many ways to get involved - - reach out to other parents and pool your resources!
  • Are you looking for an idea, here are some great ideas to consider: 
  • Gift Cards to your favorite restaurant, store or event! 
  • Donate Subs or burgers for 15 people delivered to work or home 
  • Ultimate micro-brew sampler of Growlers and or bottles 
  • Limo ride to and from local winery 
  • Tickets to a sports game - include transportation (Uber) 
  • Personal trainer at a local gym 
  • Tickets to a comedy show 
  • Ballroom dancing lessons 
  • Santa Claus or Easter Bunny visit to your home 
  • Group paintball outing 
  • Kid packages - camping (flashlights, s'mores, bug spray, radio, gift card to REI); baseball (Twins T-Shirt and tickets to a Saints Game); artist (crayons, paints, paper, scissors, gift card to Target) or Off to college (detergent, dryer sheets, roll of quarters, gift cards to Subway, Noodles, Chipotle)
